If you have never had a swimming pool before; Producers can speak a language you don’t yet understand! Many of our clients are new brand owners and state that they do not know all of the terms used by swimming pool contractors to describe and calculate swimming pool design. This article will help you understand exactly what we mean when it comes to technical features.
‘Bundles’
The swimming pool is an important part of the “beam” structure. This part of the pool is located at the top, and the shape of the ocean is revealed and contoured to measure the circumference of the pool structure. This is where decorative stone clapboards are usually placed on top of tiles inside the pool.

Coping
Naskh is the material that is placed over a pool of “keel” and follows the shape over the waterline tiles. The side of the pool before the water starts. The concrete decking will anchor the back of this material with the “control joint”. You can choose from brick, limestone, or limestone.
Perimeter
The size of the pool beam is as found in the pool shape. Also known as the “ray of the pool”. The image below is just a general vocabulary guide. The perimeter of the pool is important in freeform swimming pools when calculating the indoor surface area.

Rebar
Rebar features are standard with 10 “o / c”, which turns “center” into 10 x 10 squares. We exceed these standard specifications with steels greater than 8 ° C. Therefore, we install a steel reinforcing steel cage. A “boxed beam” nullifies the standards by inserting 4 5/8 steel rods into a continuous loop inside the pool keel.
Gunite
It’s a kind of concrete that can be “fired” through a high-pressure hose, and our guns, applied at high speeds, heal up to 4,000 psi after hardening. Gunite applicants must have a certificate to guarantee our Lifetime Warranty. PSI indicates the processing strength of concrete and the amount of PSI required before it can be cracked.
Surface area
This term refers to the square foot of the water area in a pond. As a 2D representation of the fill, this is the footprint of the pool, which can be used to determine the size of the pool or how much space it will occupy in the yard.

Decking
Swimming pool decorating can be done in several ways; Concrete, woven concrete, flooring, wood / Trex, or tiles. The area around the perimeter of the pool can be treated with four thick concrete, to include required roofs and columns at the edges, and to avoid cracking or detachment.
Pool Interior
The interior of the polished swimming pool must be sealed with a quality finish before any water is clearly captured or attracted. The inner part of the pool is made of a material that binds the surface to the lamp shell and prevents water leakage from the pool, which is very attractive for the overall look and feel of the pool. There are all kinds of extras and crazy prices, but we’ve got you covered in 40% quartz mix, with optional blue chips on a white base with a 7-year warranty.
mastic
Soon after all of the aforementioned niches and decking have been installed, a substance called “mastic” will seal the control joint of the pool perimeter. A flexible open seal with a decorative finish will ensure that water from the pool or rain does not flow into the gap of the control joint.

Main Trench
All plumbing pipes with a total of 9-14 tubes are combined. The main trench will go to the pond equipment and connect to each pipe.
Filtration pump
A filter pump is the main pond (or spa) pump that pumps water through the system and pool equipment. Equipment will be shared for the pool + spa combinations. We offer several solutions for swimming pool filtration pump one speed, two speed, and variable speed models. This is the pump that comes every day, helping to keep the pool clean.

Control Center
Your pool equipment controls some of the devices that are capable of duplicating timers/schedules/running times. We have a number of solutions ranging from standard analog timers to full digital automation with WiFi capabilities. Each of our digital pool controllers includes the ability to control devices, set schedules, and control lighting, and some models include wireless remote controls and other advanced features.
Pool cleaner
Our pool was finished off with an automatic column cleanser. These are automatic side pressure cleaners that capture leaves, dirt, pine needles / corners, poles, and all other things that fall to the bottom of the pool. We install Polaris 280/380 Automatic Pressure Side Pool Cleaner in our swimming pools better than any Aquabot or Dolphin brand cleaner!

Pool filter
Filtration is one of the most important components of a clear pool. Our cartridge filters can trap debris in pool water that you can’t even see with your own eyes! In the pool + spa combination, the filter is shared between pool and spa according to the situation. Our swimming pools are filtered using Howard’s 4-component transparent swimming cartridge that needs to be cleaned every 6 months.
